If I am a fan, I can respond to comments that they have made and begin to get to know them better. Once we get more acquainted it is up to them if they want to friend me later or not. I think this is Plurk courtesy.

i am often roaming throughout the internet just about all of the day which means that I have a propensity to peruse a good deal, which unfortunately isn’t typically a beneficial matter as a large amount of the internet sites I view are made up of pointless crap copied from similar web pages a trillion times, on the other hand I gotta give you props this page is in truth readable and even delivers a lot of authentic substance, for that reason many thanks for helping to stop the trend of only duplicating other peoples’ sites, if you ever wanna have fun with playing a few hands of facebook poker together with me just hit me up - you have my email

Plurk has been an experiment of sorts for me, friending people who I don’t really know. But even there, I tend to leave people as ‘fans’ until I get to know them a little better.
