I’m looking forward to when the A-Team figures out that we don’t like being punished, and I can retire the Karma Medic. (Click on my link to see her story.)

As it is, I keep having to open up new rounds of friends for her. She’s far more popular than I am. All because people hate Plurk using Karma to punish us.

I had just achieved nirvana the day before, and after the big update to fix the Karma problem, I found that I had lost .96 points, and was back below 81 again, even though I had been on almost non-stop for several days. It was a very odd event. I believe that the same thing happened to Topsurf and Daysies. If Plurk is going to make a big deal out of Karma, they need to learn to avoid making people unhappy about it. If they would ease up on the punishment side, and certainly avoid errors such as these, we would all be better off.

Something interesting happened to my blog after I embedded the Plurk widget. I got an Email from Blogger stating that they had identified certain characteristics that indicated my blog was a spam generator! I’ve been blogging for years, and never had that one before! I’ve had to jump through some hoops with them, they are investigating, hopefully will not lock and shut it down. I hadn’t changed anything else recently with my blog or how I use it.
